Comprehensive Coverage
- Kindly bring your equipment to one of our service locations, accompanied by the original receipt (either in digital or hard copy). If you need parts to be delivered to you, our service department requests images or a video of the damaged or malfunctioning components to promptly process the correct replacements.
- We Will Repair or Replace Under Warranty:
- We will repair or replace, at its option, any engine accessories or replacement parts that are proven to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use during the applicable time period. All parts replaced under warranty will be considered as part of the original product, and any warranty on those parts will expire coincident with the original product warranty.
- Parts will be replaced under warranty without charge, but any labor charges will be the responsibility of the purchaser. -
This warranty does not include the following:
Any damage or deterioration resulting from the following:
- Neglect of the periodic maintenance as specified in the product manual or in written (digital or hardcopy) format to the customer.
- Improper repair or maintenance including operating without adequate oil in reservoirs
- Operating methods other than those indicated in the owner’s manual
- Damage caused by conversion to, or use of, fuel other than the fuel(s) that the engine was originally manufactured to use, as set forth in the engine owner’s manual and/or warranty booklet
- Exposure of the product to soot and smoke, chemical agents, bird droppings, sea water, sea breeze, salt or other environmental phenomena
- Collision, fuel contamination or deterioration, neglect, unauthorized alteration, or misuse
- Natural wear and tear (natural fading of painted or plated surfaces, sheet peeling and other natural deterioration)
- Consumable parts: House of Contractors Inc. does not warrant parts deterioration due to normal wear and tear. Contact us regarding your specific item and we will provide a list.
- Cleaning, adjustment, and normal periodic maintenance work (carburetor cleaning and engine oil draining).
